Sliding fire doors

Sliding fire doors can be bespokely manufactured for various warehousing facilities and are available in a range of sizes, with testing carried out to larger opening sizes than standard Durasteel fire doors.

A sliding door is normally linked to the facility’s alarm system and is generally always open for passing vehicles/personnel and only closes in an emergency, such as a fire event. The sliding doors are also supplied with their own fusible link system, to ensure that they self-close in a fire scenario.
