Fire Protection Board

Fire protection boards are sheets of non-combustible fireproof materials used in order to protect a building from fire.

Composite Boards

Composite fire protection boards are usually comprised of an insulating core which is sandwiched between outer sheets.

Durasteel

Durasteel is a composite fire protection panel comprised of a fibre reinforced cement core mechanically bonded to punched steel sheets on both surfaces, and provides up to 4 hours of fire protection. Durasteel is also moisture resistant, impact resistant and lightweight. Durasteel systems also require no foundations and are completely demountable.

Durawall

Durawall is a composite fire protection panel comprised of a rock wool core sandwiched between steel sheets. Durawall fire protection systems offer up to 4 hours of fire protection for non-load bearing internal partition walls that require a tested fire rating to act as firewalls or compartmentation walls.

Calcium Silicate Boards

Calcium silicate is a group of compounds used as a high temperature insulation material. Calcium silicate boards are frequently used to provide passive fire protection within buildings.

Masterboard

Masterboard is a class 0 limited combustibility calcium silicate board, reinforced with selected fibres and fillers, providing up to 30 minute fire protection. Masterboard is also resistant to moisture, will not deteriorate when in humid or damp conditions and can withstand temperatures of up to 80°C.

Supalux

Supalux is a calcium silicate, non-combustible fire protection board reinforced with selected fibres and fillers and does not contain formaldehyde. Supalux is also resistant to moisture, will not deteriorate when in humid or damp conditions.

Vermiculux

Vermiculux is a low density non-combustible calcium silicate board that provides up to 240 minutes of fire protection to structural steelwork. It is composed of vermiculite and reinforced with selected fibres and fillers.

Mineral Bound Calcium Silicate Boards

Promatect 250

Promatect 250 is a mineral bound lightweight fire protection board and is classed as non-combustible. Promatect 250 provides high degrees of strength, stability and fire performance to structural steelwork. It is also ideal for mezzanine floor fire protection.

Promatect L500

Promatect L500 is a low density calcium silicate fire protection board and is classed as non-combustible, ideal for the construction of fire resistant ducts. Promatect L500 is also resistant to moisture, and will not deteriorate when in humid or damp conditions.
