Durasteel Service Protection - Substation Ceilings
Invicta Durasteel is used in the protection of chamber soffits housing electrical equipment.
Invicta Durasteel ceilings are constructed with a steel support grid comprised of 150mm x 60mm x 3mm cold rolled channel sections. A perimeter CRC section is fastened to the structure by M10 rawlbolts at 500mm centres. CRC sections are bolted together using M10 x 25mm long bolts and nuts at 500mm centres to form a light 'I' section which is installed to span at 1200mm centres to the perimeter channel by M10 x 25mm bolts and nuts using steel angle cleats with noggings between at 2500mm centres.
