Durasteel Certifications, Tests and Approvals
Durasteel systems have been tested extensively in the UK to comply to all relevant parts of BS 476, as well as many international standards such as: Factory Mutual (FM), Underwriters Laboratories Inc (UL), Underwriters Laboratories Canada (ULC), Det Norske Veritas (DNV), Lloyds Register of Shipping (LRS), Zulassung, UK Power Networks (UKPN/EDF) and London Underground (LUL). The systems have also achieved the stringent Certifire approvals.
In total, over £2.5 million has been spent on over 220 tests, 450 assessments and a series of approvals to comply with a number of insurance-specific requirements, both in the UK and overseas.
